Continuing our goal to enhance public use facilities at the Texas Mid-coast National Wildlife Refuges, Friends of Brazoria Wildlife Refuges is hosting our fourth A Taste for Nature fundraiser on October 18, 2019 at 6:30 pm at the Dow Academic Center at Brazosport College.
We are honored to have Rich Wells, Vice President of Operations for the U.S. Gulf Coast and Site Director of The Dow Chemical Company, serving as Honorary Chair. A Taste for Nature 2019 will once again feature several outstanding wines-this year featuring a flight of premier selections from Australia and New Zealand, paired with gourmet canapés.

When you arrive at the Dow Academic Center at Brazosport College on October 18, you will receive your “passport” to seven highly-rated wines from Australia and New Zealand that you will taste along with flavor-matched hors d'oeuvres. Peruse the silent and live-auction items and mingle with fellow “world travelers” who enjoy great food and wine. It is a fun, unique evening and a great cause.

The target of this year’s fundraising is the development of what will be known as Cannon Bend Recreation Area near the Brazoria National Wildlife Refuge. This project is our most ambitious yet and has the potential to make a substantial contribution to our community.
