April 3, 2021 Friends of Brazoria Wildlife refuges (FOBWR) will host a takeout dinner featuring our locally famous Sage-rubbed Smoked Pork-Shoulder, with Cornbread, Sausage, and Pecan Dressing, Borracho Beans, and Peach Cobbler. The takeout dinner will be a drive through pick up at McClean Park from 11-1PM. Tickets are $20.00 and can purchased by clicking the link below or from FOBWR board members. Proceeds will be used to promote Enhancement of Refuge trails.
Mission Statement
The Friends of Brazoria Wildlife Refuges (FOBWR) supports the Texas Mid-coast National Wildlife Refuge Complex in its charge to manage the conservation and restoration of wildlife and plant resources and their habitats within the Brazoria, San Bernard, and Big Boggy refuges.
The FOBWR advocates and supports the refuges’ public-use mandate for hunting, fishing, wildlife observation, photography, interpretation, and environmental education.
